Operating Theatres
Mount Stuart Hospital has a modern theatre complex
comprising
two operating theatres both with lamina air flow. There is
also a Minor Surgery unit.
The theatres are equipped for a wide range of surgery, including
minimal access procedures. They are available for routine and
emergency surgery and have 24 hour cover.
Wards
Mount Stuart Hospital has 31 en-suite rooms, digital
televisions, telephones and air conditioning. We have
dedicated, highly qualified staff experienced in a wide range of
specialities.
Prior to admission into hospital your patients will be advised
as to how they can help prevent infection and if required, be
screened for MRSA via the Pre-operative Assessment Service.
Cleanliness and preventing infection is a key part of delivering
good clinical care. At Mount StuartHospital we start with the
basics, ensuring our housekeeping staff are well trained and have
the best tools for the job to ensure patient rooms and all areas of
our hospital are clean and dust free and this is personally
overseen by our Ward Manager and Support Services Manager.
Visiting times are between 11am and 8pm.
