Mount Stuart Hospital Unveils New Reception Area
Mount Stuart Hospital has had a complete refurbishment of their Main Reception area. The refurbishment project started at the beginning of the year and within the development the aim was to modernise, extend and create a welcoming and more efficient space for our guests when visiting the hospital.
On Friday 4th October, Mount Stuart Hospital hosted an event to officially open their brand new reception. The development will further enhance the hospital's facilities for visiting guests including Private patients, Consultants and Staff. The hospital already has a well-established high level of customer cares; the new reception area will increase capacity and improve our patient experience.
Attending the launch was talented young badminton player Zak-Ray Linley-Moss and solo Atlantic rower Mike Manning-Boot. Also attending was Chief Operating Officer Nick Costa, from the Ramsay Executive Board, founding staff members and Consultants and members of the local healthcare community to name but a few. The event consisted of a tour of the new area and attendees will witness the ‘cutting of the ribbon’ and unveiling of the new area to mark the special occasion.
Jeanette Mercer, the Hospital Director said: “I am delighted that we are now in a position to showcase our new reception area after so much hard work and planning that went in to make it a welcoming, bright modern area for our visitors. We look forward to providing our NHS and Private patients high quality clinical care from some of the best consultants in the region, a broad range of services in a clean, crisp, modern, welcoming environment".
