Academic background

Mr Punwar is a fellowship trained hip and knee specialist, with interests in both joint replacement and sports surgery, as well as general orthopaedic trauma. After graduation and basic surgical training in the London region, Mr Punwar completed his specialist orthopaedic training on the Bristol rotation. In 2013 he undertook a year of complex arthroplasty and sports injury training in Perth, Western Australia.  

Mr Punwar has a postgraduate certificate in medical education and continues to publish and present academic papers.
